	Portugal
	This week on the Travel Show Chris is on location in Portugal exploring Lisbon and Madeira. Travelling to Portugal is now even easier with the new direct flights from Toronto to Lisbon with TAP Portugal. The capital Lisbon is a gracious city, packed with history and with its face decidedly turned towards the Atlantic Ocean. It was from Lisbon that brave men set on voyages into the unknown in the 15th and 16th century and you can learn about larger than life characters like Henry the Navigator and Vasco da Gama. The island of Madeira, a 90 minute flight from Lisbon, is completely different again. This magnificent island is set in the Atlantic Ocean and blessed with spectacular cliffs and scenery and is a haven of peace and relaxation. Visitors are able to take advantage of a huge range of trails and everyone from casual walkers to serious hikers can find walks to enjoy.
