This week on the Travel Show – get outdoors and discover delightful Summer festivals celebrating Ontario's wine, food, arts, and culture. Each year in Ontario there are over 3000 Festivals and Community Events. It's yours to discover at www.ontariotravel.net and www.festivalsandeventsontario.ca.

Roger's Bayfest in July in Sarnia brings music to the beautiful Waterfront in Centennial Park. It features an outstanding line up of performers –Bon Jovi and Fergie head the bill, which also includes Motley Crue, The Black Crowes, Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift. Rogers Bayfest is now a 6 day festival with an estimated attendance of 95,000.

On special nights June through August the Welland Recreational Waterway is transformed as entertainers perform to the backdrop of the Fires of IlluminAqua. From sunset and stretching into the summer night, IlluminAqua blends art, culture, fire and water. Set on a floating stage, professional musicians perform a delightful program as the backdrop to the Fires of IlluminAqua. Entertaining the crowds during the concerts and intermissions are fire eaters, stilt walkers, face painters and more.

And The Art of Being Green in Lanark Village in July centres on renewable energy, climate change and adaptation and admission is free. Get information on reducing energy use and your carbon footprint - plus enjoy family friendly activities and entertainment. Environmentally-friendly building materials, solar and wind power, alternative heating and cooling methods, hybrid vehicles and lifestyle products are all featured.
